When you allow grace and gratitude to guide and embrace every circumstance in your life — even when it feels impossible — you embody the fullest expression of your Sovereignty and hold firmly in your grasp, the key to your eternal Freedom.
By definition, Grace is Divine favor bestowed freely. When we extend grace to ourselves and others, we are recognizing the unifying presence of God (how I refer to unified Source energy) in all things. It is through this recognition where we can accept what is, and consciously choose to give forgiveness instead of carrying the weight of resentment, guilt, shame, bitterness, and fear.
Gratitude is defined as a feeling of thankfulness and appreciation for a favor received. If favor is Divine and intrinsically tied to Grace, then ultimately we are showing gratitude for the God inside of all things that embodies an endless capacity to accept what is, forgive, and Be unconditional Love.
We often think of love as a romanticized emotion, but Love is in fact our natural State of Being, and it can feel like alien territory. Love, especially in the throes of conflict, can be incredibly hard to tap into which is why I am so passionate about cultivating my capacity to do hard things. In a world that values and rewards dysregulation, it’s easy to forget that staying regulated is hard, which is why your grounded presence is one of the greatest acts of compassion you can give your Self and others. During times when we’re not able to hold a loving and compassionate center, we then have a responsibility to rise into grace and gratitude for the lessons being revealed, in favor of defaulting into shame and condemnation.
Easier said than done. Trust me…I know…
In life’s more challenging moments, if you can lovingly observe the path you choose as a mirror — a window into your perceptions of your Self, others, and your reality — you have gifted yourself with the profound opportunity to change how and what you project back into the world. Know that it is always your Divine right to choose grace and gratitude as the highest expression of your Will; to rise through your ego and wounding, choose to see things differently, and Be unconditional Love.
Even when it’s unpopular.
Especially when it feels impossible.
Because only what you are not giving can be lacking in any situation.
So today, and in every now moment, if you find yourself giving Thanks out loud or quietly to yourself, consider extending your grace and gratitude to:
Every experience that has manifested and unfolded throughout your life, without judgment and without exception;
All thoughts, ideas and beliefs that your soul’s vessel is incapable of anything but Divine Perfection;
All relationships as they are; near or far, current or estranged;
All guilt and resentment - old or new, resolved or unresolved, insignificant or profound, that you are choosing to carry;
Divine inspiration as the conduit to your highest purpose and greatest fulfillment;
The wisdom, inspiration and unconditional love from God that creates the Peace within you, so that you may be a reflection of Peace for all;
Be free from past pain, future worry and to Be in the Eternal Now, choosing to dwell in the peace of this moment, where all is unfolding in divine perfection.
Until next time, I love you.
